Three months home

We are doing pretty well here. Olivia is adjusting really well to having a little brother and Grayson loves his big sister. He is a little under the weather right now which makes him very clingy and crying more but he is still sleeping like a champ. Here is the best family picture we have so far:

Since Grayson is such a good sleeper my husband and I have had time to work on our labor of love, Birthdays for All, and get it up and running. It is a non-profit that provides birthday presents to foster children in our area. Our website is http://www.birthdaysforall.org/ we still have a lot to do but I am excited to have a workable page and donation form up. The county provides a wish list from each child in care and I can't wait to start buying and wrapping the gifts. Our facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/BirthdaysForAll My very talented husband was able to design our logo and website so it was all done with no cost to the non-profit.

Home!

We have been home a month and I have finally gotten around to updating my blog! Taking custody in Korea was HARD and our time in Korea was HARD. Grayson was grieving really badly, wouldn't walk, would only be held while standing and would cry if my husband sat down. Oh and he wouldn't let me hold him at all. There was about five days of this. I was pretty worried about how the transition would be once we got home. Well once we got home he was a new person, happy, loving affectionate and a good sleeper. We are so lucky! It seems that those who had it a bit easier in Korea are having it a bit more difficult than we are now, but every child is different. Our son was loved and was very loved by his foster family (who we are now friends with on FB and who gave us 700 photos and videos of his time with them) so I think the initial break was incredibly hard on him, but apparently it is easier for a child to switch attachment to new people than to build attachment from scratch. Here are some pictures of Grayson since coming home:
